Biggest Practice in Shropshire

Our Approach

We have multiple sites across the Telford area which means we have more GPs and Nurses and more appointments to offer than any other surgery in the area.

Our professional team is here to deliver all your healthcare needs as well as provide specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues.

As a Teldoc patient, these appointments can be booked by calling the Teldoc Integrated Care Navigation Centre 03300 536 456 between the hours of 8.00am – 6.00pm Monday – Friday.

Our Mission

Teldoc provides high quality health care in a responsive supportive and courteous manner. We will:

Provide a service which puts our patients welfare at the heart of what we do

Nurture a culture within the practice which is evidence based, innovative, forward looking and adaptable

Work with partners throughout Telford & Wrekin to provide the widest range of services possible within a Primary Care Setting

Ensure the continuous professional development of all staff

Our Vision

For our patients to have greater control of their health and their wellbeing, supported and helped by us to live longer, healthier lives and to make informed choices about their wellbeing

To be the Primary Care provider of choice for residents in Lawley, Malinslee, Oakengates, Hadley, Leegomery and surrounding areas

To b recognised as an employer of choice for Primary Care practitioners and support staff

Our Values

The values enshrined in the NHS Constitution underpin everything that we do:

Respect

Commitment to the quality of care

Compassion

Improving lives

Working together for patients

Everyone counts

Our behaviours: leading by example

We prioritise patients in every decision we take: everything we do is directly connected to our purpose of improving the health and wellbeing of our patients – not process, not an organisation, not a profession – but the people who are at the heart of what we do

We listen and learn: we respect and support each other, listening to ideas from patients, colleagues and partners and acting on them to help achieve the highest standards we can

We are evidence based: we listen to the people and community that we serve, we look at insight and evidence, we measure outcomes, so that our decisions are objective and we understand their impact

We are inclusive: we aim to work in partnership with patients, clinicians in the NHS, the wider public and our partners because we get the best outcomes for our patients when we work together with common purpose

We strive for improvement: we believe we can always do better for our patients and to that end we share ideas and knowledge and innovative wherever we feel that improvement will follow

Patient Experience

How are we doing?
I received excellent service from Lawley practice this morning and the Teldoc phone service on Sunday. The staff I have interacted with this last week have been amazing considering the immense task of working within the medical profession, particularly this morning I got through pretty quickly and spoke to a call handler. She was extremely helpful, calm and had a lovely professional manner. My two queries were dealt with efficiently and satisfactory. Thank you for making the experience a positive one.

I rang to arrange an appointment and my call was answered with minimal delay and dealt with promptly. I quickly received a phone call from my Doctor who dealt with my issues professionally and courteously and made necessary arrangements for my medication.

Just wanted to let you know what a good job you are all doing and how it's not fair about the bad press that surgeries are getting. We would have been lost without all your hard work. Look after yourselves.

The ladies at the call centre were very helpful and supportive. People are quick to complain, but should also compliment us!
